Role description:

As a valued software engineer at Hullbot, you'll work in a fast-paced startup making a global impact. Your role will be contributing to Hullbot’s autonomy and robotics capability. This role is broad and breaks new ground as part of Hullbot’s mission. Your experience in robotics, ML, developing and implementing advanced algorithms will be applied to a robot fleet having a positive impact on the global environment. Collaboration in a cross-functional team is essential in this dynamic scaleup environment.

What we like about you:

  • Bachelor level or higher qualification in Computer Science, Mechatronic Engineering, Software Engineering or similar degree.
  • 5+ years of experience developing & testing software for robotic systems (ROS, Python, C++, Linux, Docker, embedded).
  • A broad range of robotics software experience including ML pipelines, computer vision, sensor integration and control systems
  • Experience planning, communicating and delivering complex projects.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Experience with professional software engineering best practices including code review, source control, CI, testing and operations.
