Job Title: Gameplay Engineer - VR/Unity (Contractor)

Location: Remote

Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000 per year

Job Overview:

Are you passionate about creating immersive virtual reality experiences? Do you have a strong background in Unity development? Join our team at DLVR and help us shape the future of VR gaming. As a Gameplay Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing new game features and working closely with your discord community.

You'll make our #1 multiplayer all-in-one VR sports game, BIG BALLERS VR, even better in this fast-paced industry. This is a unique opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project that is redefining the boundaries of virtual reality gaming.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with a small high performance team to develop engaging and innovative gameplay mechanics for BIG BALLERS VR

- Implement gameplay features in Unity using C# scripting

- Optimize game performance to ensure smooth gameplay experience in VR

- Test and debug gameplay systems to identify and fix issues

- Work closely with artists and designers to integrate assets and designs into BIG BALLERS VR

- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in VR gaming to enhance the gameplay experience

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field

- 3+ years of experience in game development with Unity

- Strong proficiency in C# programming language

- Experience with VR development and optimization

- Knowledge of multiplayer game development and networking

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
