Role description:
As a Robotics Software Engineer at Hullbot, you’ll work on technology that is making a global impact. The size of the problem is massive, with the drag created from biofouling accounting for up to 1% of the world’s GHG emissions. Our fleet of robots is addressing this problem every day, with over 3 million kgCO2 already saved, and your work on our robots and supporting systems will rapidly accelerate this impact. If you're passionate about using your experience in robotics to solve big problems in the world, this role is for you.
You will work with our R&D engineers to bring novel technology to our robots, developing innovative computer vision, localization and navigation functions. You will integrate new processors and sensors, improving efficiency and accuracy in a tightly integrated system. Your knowledge of traditional robotics techniques paired with fast-developing AI models will accelerate our development towards a truly autonomous service.
