Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR & Office Administrator to join our team at our California office. This part-time role combines essential human resources and office administrative duties and is ideal for an individual who excels in managing multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will support our team by overseeing HR functions, including recruitment and onboarding, and ensuring our office operations run smoothly.
Human Resources:
- Assist with all aspects of recruitment, from posting job openings and reviewing resumes to conducting phone screenings and organizing interviews.
- Onboard new employees, providing them with the necessary tools and information to begin their roles effectively.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and ensure compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Respond to HR-related inquiries and provide administrative support to the team.
- Organize and support employee engagement initiatives and company events planning.
Office Administration:
- Act as the first point of contact for the office, managing visitors and incoming calls with a professional demeanor.
- Oversee the inventory of office supplies and place orders to ensure the office is well-stocked and organized.
- Assist various departments by scheduling meetings and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Manage mail distribution and handle office correspondence efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of office administrative support
- Proven experience in an administrative role, with HR experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
