Our product, Motra, is an iOS application that automatically tracks 470+ unique exercise types, counts reps, and provides deep movement analytics—100% powered by Apple Watch motion data. To date, we’ve logged 4M+ workouts, and growth is accelerating.
We’re now looking for a Growth Lead to own growth, brand storytelling, and go-to-market execution as we enter our next phase.
What You’ll Do
- Own and scale growth across paid, organic, and lifecycle channels (App Store, social, content, email, referrals).
- Build and launch a new brand narrative that positions Motra as the most advanced strength-training platform in the world.
- Drive end-to-end marketing strategy: positioning, messaging, acquisition, retention, and monetization
- Lead App Store Optimization (ASO), conversion optimization, and performance marketing experiments
- Create and oversee high-impact campaigns across social, web, email, and partnerships
- Collaborate closely with design, product, and engineering to align launches and features with growth goals
- Develop a deep understanding of our users—lifters, athletes, and serious gym-goers—and speak to them authentically
- Move fast: take ideas from concept to live campaign in days, not months
Requirements
- Strong understanding of fitness, lifting, and gym culture is critical—our users can smell inauthentic marketing instantly
- 5+ years of experience in growth, product marketing, or performance marketing at a high-growth startup or consumer brand
- Proven ability to scale user acquisition and retention for a consumer mobile app
- Deep familiarity with paid social, influencer marketing, ASO, and analytics
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills across short-form and long-form content
- Highly analytical: comfortable working with funnels, cohorts, LTV, CAC, and experimentation
- Ability to operate across brand, product, and growth marketing simultaneously
- Experience in health, fitness, or consumer subscription products is a major plus
