Position Overview:

We are seeking a Social Media Coordinator to join our team as an intern. This role is ideal for university students studying communications or marketing who are eager to gain hands-on experience in social media management within a professional setting. The Social Media Coordinator will work closely with our marketing team to develop and execute engaging social media campaigns that align with our brand identity and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Growth Marketing Manager to develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar that aligns with our marketing objectives and key initiatives.
  • Assist in the creation and scheduling of social media content across various platforms, including but not limited to Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, news, and conversations relevant to our industry and brand.
  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute innovative social media campaigns and promotions.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the success of social media initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing, and share insights and recommendations with the team.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program in communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Passion for social media and a solid understanding of popular platforms and their respective audiences.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate engaging content ideas.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) is a plus.
  • Previous experience with graphic design or video editing software is an asset but not required.
